Collection Registry Help

If You are having difficulty using the Collection Registry, some of these tips might help.

When I click on "Select All" in Step 2, nothing happens?

  • JavaScript needs to enabled in your web browser in order to create a Set.
  • Some anti-virus and security applications disable JavaScript to protect You but it's necessary to automate certain parts of the Registry.
    Try enabling JavaScript for www.gacard.net within your security suite or browser.

I login with my account, go to create a Set and get bounced back to the login page?

  • Cookies need to enabled in You web browser in order to create a Set.
  • Some security applications disable cookies to protect You but are necessary for certain websites that you trust in this case www.gacard.net.
    Try allowing cookies for www.gacard.net within your security software.

I thought I created a Set, but no cards show up under the set name?

  • In order to protect You and your PC's security, Registry sessions are limited to 90 minutes.
    This means that if you started a Set, went to get a bite to eat, read a book and painted the house, chances are the Registry disconnected You.
    Just log back in and add cards to that set anytime you like.
  • Remember to finish Scoring your set. If you close your web browser before you let the website score it, it will show as incomplete.

My Score or Set Completion Average seems lower than it should be?

  • If You entered a required Certification number that was already in use by another member then that card doesn't get scored.
    The cert number for that card should display as orange and needs to be reconciled with the other member.
    Call Customer Service 949.366.9500 and we'll take care of it for You.

Why do I have to manually build this set in the first place?

  • Since the Global Collection Registry allows sets created using multiple grading companies, we don't have your non-Global graded cards in our database.
    We need You to provide that information for us, then we score it for You, display it for everyone on the internet to see and make You famous.

Do I have to enter Certification Numbers for all of the cards in my Set?

  • Yes. This is to protect You, track chain of ownership and prevent fraudulent or accidental duplication of Certification Numbers.

Do I have to create an entire 600 card set in one session?

  • No. You only need to add one card to get a Set started. Come back when You have time and fill out the rest of the set at your leisure.
